WPS Office is a popular MS Office clone for Linux and they provide better support for MS Office files than Libre Office or any other Office in Linux (as far as I know). But, WPS Office doesn’t work well with Neon’s KDE environment and fails to launch. So, I will explain the steps to install and setup WPS Office successfully in Neon.

With Ubuntu moving away from Unity, I was looking for a different desktop experience with a modern outlook. So, I decided to try out KDE Neon, using KDE for the first time in my life. So, when I finally setup WPS Office successfully (Yes, that needs squashing bypassing some bugs too! Click here for install and setup guide.), it didn’t open files when opened from the default file manager. Instead, I was facing an Ark zip manager. For the first time, I realized that MS Office documents are really archives!

Drones have come a long way since they were introduced as remote controlled toys. Tiny flyers now have the ability to run autonomously, sense their location and even respond to external disturbances. For instance, several years ago, a fleet of autonomous flyers built a 20-foot-tall (6 meters) wall using 1,500 bricks at the FRAC Center in France, D’Andrea said in his intro in the TED conference held on February.

This might not be the first time you might be reading the “Google’s Self Driving Car gets into an Accident” headline but this is the first time that it has happened when the AI was driving. Google’s cars have actually gotten into a dozen-plus fender benders over the years.. but in the previous cases, the government-mandated human driver was actually the one controlling the vehicle when the accidents occured.

The Raspberry Pi foundation has launched the latest generation of its flagship credit card-sized computer as it announced sales have topped 8m, making it the UK’s all-time bestselling computer.
The Raspberry Pi 3, released on Monday, costs $35 (£25), the same as its predecessor (although still seven times more than the ultra-stripped-downRaspberry Pi Zero, which was launched as a free cover gift with a magazine). Ubuntu touch is constantly evolving from being a geek’s (and space tourist’s) dream to everyday reality. The BQ Aquaris E4.5 has received a recent update on Nov 20 and Igor Ljubuncic of dedoimedo has reviewed it as he found the end results refreshing enough to write an article.

What does it do?
The Keryx Project allows users with limited internet connectivity the ability to download and update packages for Ubuntu.
